10/20/2012 - Belmont Hill 0 at Brooks 3
Game Notes:
Brooks put on a dominant performance in front of a large home crowd in this year's edition of a great soccer rivalry. Brooks' strikers were buzzing throughout the first half, but it was midfielder Greg Conrad who broke the deadlock with a masterful strike from more than thirty yards in the 43rd minute. Belmont's Tucker Hallowell did a superb job marking Zach Vieira in the first half and their battle was something to see. Belmont was unlucky not to have his services in the second half and Brooks was able to capitalize. Patrick Gordon finished a rather botched 2v1 break with Andy Bruno in the 66th and Vieira capped the scoring with a composed finish of his own break in the 89th. It was high level soccer from both sides and all of the boys on the pitch deserved much credit for the way they competed.
